This is a home based position in CA (near San Francisco).
Senior Care Advisors help families find the best senior home care or housing options for their elderly loved ones.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities
? Speaking with families over the phone to understand their elderly family member?s condition and needs (expect a high number of phone conversations each day)
? Understanding the senior care services available in the area, visiting those care providers periodically, and building relationships within those service companies
? Referring families to the senior care providers that are a match for their identified needs including level of care, geographic preference, and budget
? Following up with both families and senior care service providers to help facilitate a successful care outcome for each family
Skills/Experience Requirements
? Social workers, geriatric care managers and/or experienced senior care marketing /community relations professionals preferred
? Two plus years assisting seniors and/or their families access appropriate eldercare
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills ? especially via phone and email, but also in person
? Naturally compassionate and able to connect with others effectively
? Strong organizational skills ? able to work very efficiently and to manage a high volume of activities with very thorough follow-up
? Self-motivated, energetic, tenacious, and persistent ? with a strong track record of career success and a proven ability to thrive in an environment with high performance expectations and limited oversight
? Technologically savvy, comfortable using computers
Education/Other Pre-requisites
? Social Workers, Geriatric Care Managers and/or Senior Care Marketing/Community Relations Professionals
? Bachelor degree (BA, BS)
? Full-time home-based position and will require some phone conversations with families in the evenings
